Student Life
Students, faculty and staff are all actively involved in a mutual effort to build and maintain a Christian community where the development of spiritual maturity is both possible and encouraged. The life of each person should reflect Christ-like character.
The goal of the Student Life department at SEBC is to produce students who have the highest standards of conduct and principles in order to maintain an environment that encourages spiritual growth. We help students by working with them to answer three key life questions.
Who Am I?
Where do I Want to Go?
What Tools do I Need to get There?
We ask these questions concerning all areas of life including academics, personal life (social and emotional), spiritual life, practical matters and finances.
The Student Deans strive to make the Student Life office to be a “safe place” for students by “building bridges” so students know that we are approachable. Then, when a student comes to us we provide counseling in an atmosphere of trust, honesty, acceptance, unconditional love and confidentiality. This allows them to freely talk about their issues and experience healing, freedom and hope.
