SEBC Presidential Selection 2014

Southeastern Bible College (SEBC), a four-year private Christian college, seeks an experienced professional to provide senior leadership as the next President.  Reporting to the College’s Board of Trustees, the new President must be committed to supporting SEBC’s mission, vision, educational goals, and doctrinal commitments. The next President must appreciate the College’s rich history and possess the necessary leadership qualities needed to maintain and advance institutional excellence.

 SEBC lies at the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in northern Shelby County, Alabama. The 22-acre campus is located in a residential suburb ofShelbyCounty, minutes south ofBirminghamin an area known for its high standard of living, excellent schools, and beautifully wooded lots.

 Southeastern Bible College is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of the Association for Biblical Higher Education, an institutional accrediting body recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and the U.S. Department of Education. The mission of the College is to produce graduates who are biblically grounded, spiritually mature, and culturally relevant. The College is dedicated to the preparation of the whole person so that he or she may responsibly and lovingly impact the world. SEBC provides a quality education which strives to integrate informed biblical instruction, strong Arts and Sciences curriculum, and practical ministry opportunities. Accordingly, all traditional four-year SEBC graduates receive a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a major in Bible and Theology. Second majors are available in the areas of Christian Thought and History and in Elementary Education. Eight academic program minors are available to students pursuing traditional programs of study. Adult learners, in the ACHIEVE Program, graduate with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Leadership Ministries.
