On May 10th, SEBC celebrated the graduating class of 2013. In the commencement ceremony, Dr. Hawkins charged the graduates to avoid the hazard of comparison and trust God to fulfill his unique purpose for each of them. Our guest speaker was Jeff Jones, an SEBC alumnus, who is the senior pastor of Chase Oaks Church in Plano Texas. He spoke from 2 Timothy 2:1-9, explaining to the students that they were responsible for influencing their generation for the cause of Christ and for passing the gospel to the next generation. He gave each gradate a baton to remind them of the task that is now theirs. Ferrell Lucas Gossett was the class valedictorian and Kellie April Curb the salutatorian. Congratulations to the 2013 graduates!

ABHE Reaffirmation

Southeastern Bible College, Alabama, will be hosting a comprehensive accreditation visit by a team of evaluators from the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE) (dates TBA) to determine its compliance with the standards for accreditation. During the visit, representatives of the ABHE team will entertain comments from the public.
