ARC Conference Speakers
Craig Branch is the founder and Director of the Apologetics Resource Center. He was formerly the Alabama director and Vice-President of Watchman Fellowship, one of the largest counter-cult ministries in the world. He is the co-author of the book Thieves of Innocence (Harvest House) republished as Public Schools: The Sorcerer's New Apprentice? He has also published numerous articles in Christian journals, magazines, and books. He has earned an M.R.E. from Birmingham Theological Seminary.
Steve Cowan is Associate Professor of Philosophy and Apologetics at Southeastern Bible College and Associate Director of the Apologetics Resource Center. He has earned a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Southern Mississippi, and M.Div. from Southwestern Baptists Theological Seminary, and Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Arkansas. He is the author of numerous scholarly articles in apologetics and philosophy, as well as co-author of the forthcoming book The Love of Wisdom: A Christian Introduction to Philosophy (Broadman & Holman). He is also the editor of ARC's Areopagus Journal.
Jason Dollar is a staff apologist at the Apologetics Resource Center who specializes in teaching apologetics to high school students. He has earned an M.A. in Apologetics from Birmingham Theological Seminary and a B.A. in Pastoral Ministries from Southeastern Bible College. In addition to his work at ARC, he teaches Apologetics and Old Testament at Shades Mountain Christian School. He also speaks at youth group meetings, camps, retreats, home school groups, and virtually anywhere high school students gather. He has a passion to show students how they can defend their beliefs in a world that can be very hostile to the exclusive claims of Christianity.
Frank Ellis graduated from the apologetics program at Southeastern Bible College in 2005 and continued his education in philosophy and ethics at Talbot School of Theology (Biola Univ.). He has taught high school Bible and science and is currently working in the medical field while studying bioethics. Frank also teaches apologetics classes at Birmingham Theological Seminary.
Keith Gibson is the director of ARC's Kansas City Office. He received a B.S. in Psychology from Palm Beach Atlantic University and a Master of Arts in Religion from Liberty University. He has served as a minister for 24 years. He is a frequent conference speaker and has spoken at a number of colleges and seminaries. Keith is also a charter member of the International Society of Christian Apologetics.
Clete Hux is the counter-cult specialist for ARC. He has a Master of Divinity degree from Birmingham Theological Seminary. He served for several years in counter-cult ministry with Watchman Fellowship before joining the staff of ARC. Clete is also a teaching elder in the P.C.A. and regularly teaches apologetics courses at the Birmingham Theological Seminary.
Keith Loftin has served as an apologist on staff with the Apologetics Resource Center for over two years and is an associate editor for the Areopagus Journal. He earned his B.A. in Biblical Studies at Southeastern Bible College before pursuing graduate studies at the University of Dallas (M.A. in Humanities) and Louisiana State University (M.A. in Philosophy).
Brandon Robbins is a staff apologist with the Apologetics Resource Center. He is also responsible for the photography and graphic design of ARC’s Areopagus Journal. He is currently a candidate for the M.A. in Apologetics from the Birmingham Theological Seminary. He, his wife Katrina, and their two children live in Birmingham.
