Southeastern Bible College is located just south of Birmingham, Alabama. It’s just located right off I-65 South on Valleydale Road near Oak Mountain State Park.
Birmingham is an up and coming culture and arts center. There is plenty to do and see around town from the impressive Birmingham Museum of Art to Vulcan Park where you can learn all about the history of the “Magic City”.
There are several concert venues such as The Alabama Theater, Verizon Wireless Music Center, Workplay and the BJCC which are frequented by nationally known artists as well as a growing local music and entertainment scene.
There are plenty of delicious restaurants such as The Original Pancake House at 5 Points South on Southside, upscale French cuisine at Ches Fonfon or spicy Cajun at The Crazy Cajun right down the road in Pelham.
If the great outdoors is your natural habitat, the Birmingham area has a lot to offer. Just minutes from Southeastern Bible College is Oak Mountain State Park with camp grounds, fishing, hiking, biking, boating, a wildlife refuge facility and much more. You can rock climb at Moss Rock and Boulder fields or for a greater adventure take a short drive to Sand Rock, AL, the location of the rock climbing scene in Failure to Launch. Birmingham is also convenient for a day or weekend trip to the Smoky Mountains or the beach on the beautiful Gulf Coast.
Alabama has a rich sports tradition whether it be high school or college athletics. The University of Alabama and Auburn University are in driving distance and have a rivalry unlike any other. The Birmingham Barons, a Chicago Whitesox affiliate, play at Regions Park in Hoover, just a short 15 minute drive from the Southeastern Bible College campus.
Since Southeastern Bible College is conveniently located just south of Birmingham, AL, our students have access to the variety of attractions, entertainment and cuisine that Birmingham and it’s surrounding areas have to offer.
