News from the Music Department

Southeastern Singers (formerly the SEBC Chorale) are seeking new members for 2008-2009.  Auditions begin the week of April 7.  Students must audition with Mrs. Sarah Timothy before signing up for the course (for credit OR audit).    A schedule for audition times is posted in Room 150.   If you sing soprano, alto, tenor, or bass and enjoy all styles of choral music and traveling in ministry, then this is the group for you! 

Music Scholarship Audition for Voice, Piano, or Guitar will be held April 7 through May 16, 2008.  These scholarships are awarded to Freshmen or Transfer students interested in pursuing a music minor at SEBC.

Auditions for "Audience of One" the SEBC Worship Band will be held Thursday, May 1 from 3:30 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.  Positions are available for vocals, drums, bass, and electric guitar.  Auditions are open to any full-time SEBC student maintaining a minimum GPA of 2.5.
